Caught this street parked F-Pace in Philly yesterday when I was out shooting. One of my first 10 LightRoom edits so any advice is appreciated. Shot with a Sony A6000 with the kit 55-210mm lens. No lens filter. Not meant to be too “artsy” of a shot :)

I saw my first one in the wild without camo this morning as well. Funny! I thought it looked pretty good compared to say an X5.

Looks good! I saw my first F-Pace in the wild this weekend, at Mosport of all places. Also shot with an A6000, straight off camera so no editing on these.

Also saw my first one this morning just ahead of me at a light. It was white and I only saw the back and it caught me off guard, wasn’t expecting the leaper badge on the back of a CUV

The white looks good too! How do you like the A6000?

I snooped around Jaguar US hq in April and saw my first one :)
Nice shot, you’ll want a circular polarizer if you plan to shoot lots of cars, it helps with reflections. What zoom was it shot at? 210mm?

It’s great! In my 2nd year shooting with it and so far my only gripes with it are the grip (solved with a metal L-bracket to make the body a bit longer; there really isnt a good, affordable battery grip available) and the metal ring for the e-mount has a bit of play (solvable with a reinforced aftermarket replacement).
Portability was one of the selling points and after long days of shooting, I’m glad the system doesnt have much weight. Be sure to carry lots of extra batteries! The burst rate also comes in handy for stuff at the track, though the autofocus does occasionally pick up the background by accident.

I actually have a polarizer for that lens but had the lens shroud on and can’t use both. This was shot at 123mm, 1/160 F7.1, ISO 800. Cropped a little from the original.

Thanks for the tip on the lens mount. I haven't heard about it until now. Looks like the Tough Emount is only $40.

That’s the one! I’d been eyeing it down for a while but it kind of sat on the backburner once I started looking for a new long telephoto. Currently fighting the urge to buy the lens I rented this past weekend.

Hey I know this is a couple weeks old. Just wanted to see if you saw the Neewer battery grip. $64 on Amazon + 2 batteries. Total around $85-95. I may be picking one up soon!

It has crossed my mind a few times but reading up on it, it doesnt behave as a true battery grip should and lead to some overheating issues. I dunno, maybe it’s changed. I am personally content with swapping singles out of my pouch and with my metal L bracket.
Buuuuut if you do get it, let me know how you like it!

I found one on Ebay pretty cheap WITH the 2 batteries so if I can pick it up for less than $50 I’ll do it and let you know!
